Oakdale Community Hospital

Oakdale Community Hospital's Cardiology Department offers several non-invasive Cardiology procedures such as EKG's; 24-hour Holter Monitoring; Echocardiograms with cardiac doppler & color flow imaging; and contrast Echocardiograms. We also offer several forms of Stress Testing including Excercise Treadmill; Radionuclide Exercise Treadmill; Pharmaceutical Stress-Echo; and Radionuclide Pharmaceutical Stress Test.

CT Scan
Oakdale Community Hospital utilizes a Hi-Speed Spiral CT LXI scanner. This technology allows for 3D image reconstruction which reduces radiation exposure, exam time and provides improved imaging capabilities.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
MRI is a painless way to look inside your body without requiring the use of x-rays. With a large magnet, radiowaves and a computer, your body is scanned to provide very detailed pictures of areas that cannot be viewed on conventional x-rays. MRI exams make it possible for physicians to see certain types of tissue and obtain important information about the brain, spine, joints, and internal organs.

Mammography (ACR Accredited)

Mammograms are low energy x-rays of the breast that are used to screen apparently normal breasts for cancer. Early detection of breast cancer is known to save lives. Yearly mammograms are recommended for women 40 and over, though screening schedules should be determined by your physician.

Nuclear Medicine
Full diagnostic cardiology and nuclear services are provided by Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologists who have been specialty trained in nuclear medicine procedures. Services include cardiac, skeletal, genitourinary, pulmonary and oncology imaging.

Physical Therapy
Oakdale Community Hospital's inpatient and outpatient Physical Therapy Department deals with the treatment of pain, disease, or injury. Our therapists are concerned with the promotion of health, the prevention of physical disabilities, the evaluation and rehabilitation of persons disabled by pain, disease, or injury, and with treatment by physical therapeutic measures.

Ultrasound
Our department offers a full range of ultrasound services that include cardiac, obstetrical and gynecological, vascular, abdominal, and breast imaging.
